Stratford Participates in Opioid Crisis Forum

On Thursday evening, March 3, 2016, Town of Stratford Public Safety, Health and Youth Services Personnel joined with Shelton and Monroe to host an Opioid Crisis Forum which was well attended by many citizens from across the State of Connecticut and New York.  Among those panelists in attendance from Stratford were EMS Administrator Kevin Giasullo, Dispatch Supervisor JP Sredzinski, Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour, Public Health Director Andrea Boissevain, Youth Services Bureau Tamara Trojanowski and Mayor John Harkins.  This was a community discussion on Connecticut’s opioid addiction crisis aimed at identifying opportunities and solutions to managing this crisis and included testimonials from area residents currently in recovery.
